Style, magnificent views, location, tranquility are just the few adjectives to describe this property. This is an apartment on the whole ground floor of an independent villa. From the main door you walk into the wooden parquet floors bringing you to the elegant and very stylish living area. Sitting from the comfortable leather sofa you can enjoy the entertainment system consists of flat screen satellite TV with DVD player. The generous kitchen and dining area is set out in a separate room where you can start up preparing italian dishes at your own comfort. The kitchen is well equipped with the things needed for a self catering stay. The good size bathroom tiled and decorated in the local italian way comes with bathtub, bidet, WC and vanity unit. The property offers two comfortable bedrooms which is a perfect place for a family. Both of the bedrooms are furnished with TV, to enjoy the local italian shows. Across the hall houses the master's bedroom with a double size bed of excellent quality with ample storage space and wardrobe. There is a window which gives out the excellent garden with lake view. This bedroom simply offers an amazing romantic ambience for a couple. The second bedroom offers two cosy single beds which can be twinned. The garden which fronts out the villa is laid to lawn with beautiful plants typically found in the region. From here you can enjoy, the natural environment of Lake Como. There is also a big terrace where you can stay at your disposal which boasts super lake view. A private parking space inside the property is also available for the holiday makers. Ossuccio and surrounding area The beauty about Lake Como is in it's diversity offering so much to so many. If you just want to come away for a week or so and put your feet up by the balcony with the obvious benefit of world renowned scenery Lake Como will not dissapoint. The area's only sandy golden man made beach can be found close to Ossuccio village (5 mins by car to Lenno) where waiters bring you your favourite cocktail while you admire the lake from beneath your minature tented gazebo! For those who like to get out and about, lakeside walks, breathtaking villas, pretty piazzas, majestic mountains, quaint villages and quintessential italian cities beckon. The park in Ossuccio is favoured by locals her to soak up the sun or enjoy a drink at the bar. The lake como greenway is also found close by for walking enthusiasts who wish to sample the sheer beauty of the area and keep fit at the same time! The local regional food is amongst the finest in Italy as you would expect from a region so passionate about food. Milan is just over an hour away for the principal designers but Como city offers a more compact alternative with it's array of little boutiques, cafe culture, paved streets, gothic cathedrals and stunning lakeside location. Romantics are well served with the Villa Carlotta and it's majestic gardens, Villa Erba in Cernobbio, another lakeside favourite of ours - perfect to enjoy a gelato along the lake front whilst walking off another italian lunch! Perhaps the most popular for sheer beauty is Villa Balbianello in near by Lenno. Eagle eyed James Bond fans will no doubt have spotted the villa in the recent 007 adventure "Casino Royale". | |||||||||||||||||||||
